Medication Policy

·        Owing to the complexities of medication legislation the club committee deem that no club teacher, instructor, helper, or committee member can administer medication to a swimmer.

 ·        Swimmers who require “rescue medication” to help maintain their daily health (examples being but not limited to some Epilepsy medication, Diabetes control, and Asthma inhalers) will need to ensure that a parent / guardian are on hand to administer such medication.

In the absence of a parent / guardian and in the event of the swimmer becoming ill following the first aid policy an ambulance must be called.
